This Strategic Plan will guide the Mattole Restoration Council over the next five years, and represents a watershed-wide approach to restoration efforts in the Mattole. It attempts to address the whole system, including both land and water, in order to successfully manage problems associated with the Mattole River and its tributaries. It is based on the premise that many watershed restoration is best addressed by integrated solutions aimed at the root causes of the problems.
